“Success is liking yourself,
liking what you do,
and liking how you do it.”
WHAT IS COACHING ALL ABOUT?
I'm a trained life coach because I love creating safe spaces for honesty and exploration that will lead to results. Though I have to say I think Personal Transformation, Mindset, or Achievement Coach are clearer descriptions than "Life Coach." Just like having a personal trainer can be the boost you need to reach the next level in your physical fitness, coaching adds power and velocity to the projects that you’re working on, even (or especially!) the secret ones that you aren’t ready to tell anyone about.
Do you feel like your life is pretty good, but you want more forward momentum? Do you want to reach new levels in your life? Maybe you feel the pull of accomplishing bigger goals or you’re ready to find clarity around important decisions.
What you probably need is the space and some extra support and accountability to sort it out. As a coach, I'll never tell you what to do or how to do it; my mission is to help you face whatever is happening in your life with ease, and get clear and aligned with what you want to create. I will relate to you as whole, because I believe that you have everything you need within yourself to create transformation.
Together, we’ll figure out exactly what’s not working, and I’ll help you uncover how to get from here to there. It will be like you possess a magic mirror that you can hold up to get reflections and perspectives that you couldn’t see on your own. I will give you the tools to live from a whole new place of possibility. These are practices I have used in my own life for years with wonderful results.
How Did I Get Into This?
Since my pre-teen years, I've been interested in personal growth and spirituality. When I was asked, "What are you passionate about?" at age 14 in a youth group meeting, I remember cringing but answering honestly anyway: "Service to others." I was embarrassed because it seemed like everyone around me responded with something like "snowboarding" and "outer space." Now I see that early on I was just tuned-in to what made me feel purposeful and connected. I had a deep interest in coaching in my early twenties, but I believed I was too young. I'm so grateful I finally took the leap to be of service as a coach, to help jump-start my clients’ growth with powerful ah-ha moments and actions.
I bring a wide variety of perspective and experience after having lived and worked as an ethnographic researcher and storyteller in 12 countries. Having so many inspiring conversations with people—particularly National Geographic explorers and scientists— made me very curious about passion and why some people are able to accomplish their goals over and over again, way outside of their comfort zone. I trained for a full year with a world-class coach training program accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF). This is important because there are plenty of people out there who call themselves a coach without in-depth training. The ICF sets the bar high with strict ethical, technical, and skills standards.
Curious?
The first step is to set up a phone chat and see if we are a good fit for 1:1 coaching. Coaching is all about partnership. The truth is, no one needs a coach, and everyone could use one.
Uncertainty is the gateway to possibility …
I’d love to hear from you.
